DEWA’s Sustainability and Innovation Centre wins two 2025 Sustainability Awards from Business Intelligence Group

Dubai, UAE, 12 October 2025: The Sustainability and Innovation Centre of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has received two Sustainability Awards 2025 from the US-based Business Intelligence Group in the ‘Sustainability Service of the Year’ and ‘Sustainability Squad’ categories. These accolades underscore centre’s role in advancing clean energy innovation and sustainability leadership.

“These prestigious global awards enhance the Sustainability and Innovation Centre's excellence and confirm its leadership in stimulating clean and renewable energy innovation, raising awareness and co-operation in the field of sustainability, accelerating the energy transition and driving investments that will ensure a more sustainable and bright future for all. The centre supports DEWA’s vital role in achieving the objectives of the Dubai Clean Energy Strategy 2050 and the Dubai Net Zero Carbon Emissions Strategy 2050 to provide 100% of the emirate’s energy production capacity from clean sources by 2050,” said HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA.

It offers daily guided learning experiences to visitors of all ages, delivers certified technical training programmes in partnership with global institutions and hosts dedicated youth leadership initiatives. Its diverse portfolio of internationally accredited training programmes aims to enhance technical skills, leadership capabilities and strategic knowledge in clean and renewable energy, ESG practices and sustainability systems.
